Viime viikolla alkoi jo näyttää siltä, että kesä on lopultakin tullut, vaikka lähes joka ilta paukkuikin ukkonen. Vaan sunnuntaina taivas taas repesi ja täällä värjöttelemme 13 asteen kosteassa "kesäsäässä". Perheenisä oli italian tunnillaan kuullut, että tämä on huonoin kevät ja alkukesä noin kahteensataan vuoteen, niin kauan kuin säätilastoja on kerätty! Hollantiin muutettuamme saimme niskaamme vuosikymmenen syysmyräkän. Mahdammekohan olla jonkin sortin pahanilmanlintuja?

Tukka-Ukon ystäville vinkki: BBC:n lastenohjelmakanavalta tulee askarteluohjelma ja siinä Mr Maker teki viime viikolla lähes samanlaisen Tukka-Ukon kuin Pojalla on. Tarvittiin ruohonsiemeniä, sukkahousua, pumpulia, kumilenkkejä, piipunrassi ja silmät. Ohjeet löytyvät täältä, jos kiinnostaa.

We thought last week that the summer was finally here even though the thunder was rumbling almost every night. But no such luck, the skies opened again on Sunday and here we are shivering in +13 degrees damp "summer" weather. Daddy heard on his Italian lesson that this has been the worst spring and beginning of summer for the last 200 years, as long as weather data has been collected! When we moved to Holland we were hit with the worst autumn storm of the decade. Are we some sort of bad weather magnets?
