Suomen kesä ei tänä vuonna ollut niitä kaikkein aurinkoisimpia, mutta täällä Italiassa kesä jatkuu vielä täysillä. Palasimme kotiin alkuviikosta ja ensimmäiset päivät ovat kuluneet laukkuja tyhjennellessä ja talo on vähitellen saatu vallattua takaisin hämähäkkien vallasta, seittejä ja niiden asukkeja oli joka kulmassa ja nurkassa. Nyt ne ovat imurin pohjalla.

Perheenisä palasi Suomeen lomailemaan heti elokuun alussa ja kahteen viimeiseen lomaviikkoon mahtui paljon kaikenlaista touhua. Jännittävin paikka oli Luonnontieteellinen museo Helsingissä, ihan ehdottomasti pienen Pojan mieleen. Suomen luontoa esittelevän näyttelyn lisäksi siellä oli paljon erilaisia kiinnostavia luurankoja ja ylimmästä kerroksesta löytyivät dinosaurukset.

This year the summer in Finland wasn't the sunniest but here in Italy the summer still continues. We returned home in the beginning of this week and have spent the first days by unpacking the luggages and trying to claim the house back from spiders, webs and their inhabitants were on every corner. Now they are at the bottom of the vaccuum.

Daddy came back to Finland to continue his holidays in the beginning of August and we did a lot during the last weeks of our vacation. The most exciting place was the Natural History Museum in Helsinki which Little Boy enjoyed a lot. Besides the exhibition of Finnish Nature there were many interesting skeletons and on the top floor we found the dinosaurs.

Ennätimme Papan saareen muutamaksi päiväksi toisenkin kerran. Tällä kertaa Poika pääsi koittamaan kalastusta mato-ongella ja saikin hyvän saaliin: ahvenen, salakan ja kaksi särkeä. Pappa veisti Pojalle kaarnaveneitä, joista yksi karkasi kauas järvelle.

Kotimatkalla poikkesimme Auto- ja tiemuseo Mobiliaan Kangasalle. Näyttelyssä oli esillä tienpitoon liittyvää esineistöä ja ulkona pikkuväki pääsi ajamaan liikennepuistoon polkuautolla.

We had time to go Pappa's summer house for the second time for a couple of days. This time Little Boy tried fishing with a rod and a worm as a bait and he catched a perch, a bleak and two roaches. Pappa made Little Boy little boats of bark and one of them escaped far away on the lake.

On our way home we stopped in The Automobile and Road Museum Mobilia in Kangasala. In the exhibition they had all sorts of equipment which is needed to make and maintain roads and outside children can drive pedal cars in a little city.

Ihan loman loppupäivinä piipahdimme vielä Naantaliin Muumimaailmaan. Elokuun puolivälissä tungoksesta ei ollut tietoakaan ja tapasimme kaikki Muumilaakson hahmot. Jännittävin paikka oli tietysti mörön luola ja jääseinä, hrrrr.

Just few days before leaving Finland we visited the Moominworld in Naantali. In the mid-August there weren't too many visitors and we met all the Moomin characters. The most exciting place was the cave of the spook and his icy wall, brrrr.
